STIRRING UP TROUBLE: Season 1
– A Comedy Cooking Show –

It’s been a decade since we shot Season 1 of Stirring Up Trouble at my house in Los Feliz. It was before HD, but the conversations are still sharp enough to grab your attention with special guests that include Kimleigh Smith, John Fugelsang, Troy Conrad, Stefan Buchar and Angela Martin. My Mom even stopped by for the season finale where I share tips for making Thanksgiving dinner. And finding the G Spot.

Stirring Up Trouble was narrated by Aly Drummond with commercial breaks featuring Shawn-Caulin Young as Johnny Appleseed. The editor was Josh Dobson and the producer was Tracy Mazuer, who left Hollywood to draw trees. The opening and closing credits were sung by Katharine Blodget, who is now a therapist.

We are currently in post production for Season 2 of Stirring Up Trouble, which will premiere on Angela Shelton Day (aka April 29). A lot has happened over the last ten years, so the new season has us stirring up trouble with musicians in Nashville. I thought it would be funny to ask them uncomfortable questions about the fast life on the road. And it was. But it also got very serious. We laughed. We cried. We got even got a little upset. Episode 1: Breasts Down, Fanny Up

I sat down with my guests, John Fugelsang and Kimleigh Smith, to talk about dating while eating a chicken … fanny up.

The reason I started online dating was for the free food. It’s true. But I got married (for a while), so … check out this episode for dating advice and my favorite chicken dinner recipe.

Episode 2: How Big Is That Sausage?

Watch me feed sausages to the big-penised man, Adam Roth, (he even wrote a book about 101 fascinating things to do with your penis) while Kimleigh Smith watches.

It’s actually veggie sausage, so I talk about going vegetarian and having your own garden.

Oh, and I also share a secret on how to improve your sex life!

Episode 3: Sex with Commitment?

I sit down with guests, Charlotte Kasl and Kimleigh Smith, to talk about making do with what you have. Like the can of tuna in my pantry that I added to my recipe.

They play with the Instead SoftCup and talk about vaginas over some fishy pasta.

Episode 4: Protect Your Wallet and Your Colon

My Mom stops by with Mary Kelly where we make quinoa salad and talk about being smart with your money and supporting men. Mary talks breaks down some of her favorite books from finance guru, Suze Orman, so you can invest in yourself.

I talk about investing time in doing kegel exercises. Definitely worth your time!

Episode 5: Chocolate on Your Biscuit

No better way to bond with women than over chocolate over biscuits overnight. I invited Kimberly Brown and Kimleigh Smith over to chat about bonding with women without hating men. Women supporting women … there is a way to do it!

Episode 10: Tempted by Temptations?

Kimleigh Smith is back to talk about temptation. We start by making a raw beet salad (helps clean you out) instead of being tempted to eat chocolate ice cream.

We talk about getting rid of the baggage of past relationships, taking a friendship to another level and what we can give up to be more focused on what’s good for us instead of being tempted by the not-so-good.

Episode 11: Howling Full Moon Special

This special episode is a look into my Full Moon Parties for ladies only. Kimleigh Smith, Stephanie and Aly join me for wine around the fire to metaphorically burn our insecurities and judgments of each other. Learn to let it gooooo!

Episode 12: Dirty Divorce

This season we’ve been bonding with friends and cleaning out our bodies and lives, but sometimes you just need some comfort food to get you through, especially a dirty divorce. If you’re feeling sad or stressed, Strawberry French Toast helps so that’s what I made for my featured guest, Angela Martin.

Angela wrote the book, \”How to Ruin Your Ex Husband\’s Life One Day At a Time”, to help women heal and laugh during a time that isn’t very funny. She believes that doing things (funny not malicious things) to your ex instead of sitting around and crying helps you move on. Makes sense to me!
